POEM THEY CALLED ME PHOENIX

THEY CALLED ME PHOENIX AND I BELIEVED THEM

They tried to cut my wings

So I couldn’t fly any longer

But I’m the phoenix that is always reborn

And it won’t perish without fighting

They tried to extinguish my light

In a darkened water which drowned me

But it wasn’t that simple to hurt me

I kept flying towards the sun
